Many people think that meditation is a way to communicate with our spiritual sides, to make us feel our spiritual sides, and what we would get out from it is a better-feeling self. Yes, this is true, but not wholly true. The matter I want to emphasize here is that, each and every one of us has to find ways to be closer to the planet that supports our physicality no matter how tired we think we are, but we are unable to understand all about our spiritual sides simply by meditation.
In brief, by meditation, we could let our inner self, our soul`s entire energy to radiate upon us. And why is this energy able to radiate upon us? Because it belongs to us, to me, to you, to each of us, this energy is unique yet it is the same since all come from the same source. During the period of meditation, however, we are still using our cranial minds to control our sub- and conscious minds, that is why we can never be fully led into a total peace realm simply by meditation. Once the session ends, everything would come back to this “reality”. Well then, how can we be much much closer to our spiritual side? If we want to be close to our real spiritual sides, we have to be also close to God. If we do not have faith in God, if we do not feel obliged to God`s mercy, to glorify God every single day, every single hour in our waking life, we can never be close to God, and therefore we can never truly be close to our spiritual side. As a result, most meditations would be just like an act of relaxation, an entertainment, with no actual outcome.
Nonetheless, many would ask, how can one be close to God? This closeness complies of both thoughts psychologically and our actions physically. What are the thoughts and actions? Thoughts basically include: thoughts on love, universe`s wisdom and the 3 elements that we have to respect even in our minds are air, water and soil. The actions on the other hand include: creation of new ideas generated from aforementioned thoughts and handling all worldly problems with our creative minds, such as don`t trust too much our teachers or our doctors, even our governors, don`t believe too much in the teachings at the churches or elsewhere. We ought to be creative and wise, don`t follow the dangerous main trends in our society.
Back to the point here, the point here is that I`m concerned that many people are being led to believe that simply by performing meditation, a person could know more about his/her spiritual sides and many people are blindly following this trend without knowing what to get from his/her own spiritual self. If we really want an efficient session with our true spiritual selves, the thoughts and actions on and for God that I mentioned above must be achieved by ourselves. If we already have many experiences with the Eternal being, God, then our meditation sessions would be much more efficient, not just for entertainment or for relaxation which is truly a waste of our good energy. And I certainly do not recommend it.
